WHEREAS, Musician is engaged in providing musical performance services; and WHEREAS, Company desires to engage and contract for the services of the Musician to perform musical performance services to Company’s Artist in the recording studio on an as needed basis; and
WHEREAS, Musician desires to enter into this Agreement and perform said services as an musician;
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the conditions and covenants contained herein, the Parties agree as follows:
Musician hereby irrevocably grant to Company.any and all rights of ownership or any other rights in connection with the following master recordings (“Master(s)”) by _________________________________________________ (the “Artist”) throughout the Universe in perpetuity. Musician acknowledges that he/she has no right of ownership or any other rights in and to the Master(s) (including any underlying musical composition), and to the extent Musician has any rights or claim of such rights hereby assign the same to Company. Musician acknowledges that Company and its successors, assigns and licensees shall have the full right, but not the obligation, to exploit the Master(s) and to authorize any third party to exploit the Master(s) in any and all media now existing or hereafter created without payment to me of any compensation (including royalty or other payments), except for the agreed upon onetime fee payment of $_____________.
